Is there any loss of light clarity/power with this stuff fitted?

You don't have to listen to me, (because obviously i (Funk Motorsport) sell the stuff, but with the "tint" or yellow shades very very little/no noticeable loss that I noticed when I applied it.
If there was a loss i couldn't put my finger on it. The smoke I cannot tell you as I haven't had a car with Smoked lights on at night. so cant help you.

Im sure "Digital Reaper" will confirm what I have said.

Quite tempted to do this but with 95% of my driving being out in the sticks I just worry about the light being reduced...

Willis - I have seen maybe a 5% drop in light output (and that's being harsh).

I can safely say that Osram Nightbreaker Plus bulbs coupled with tinted lamin-x give a greater light output than the stock OE bulb setup.

Definitely recommended.
