Map sensor cracked and fell into manifold

Hi guys, So when putting a new map sensor into the manifold after the old one was snapped a bit of plastic fell into the manifold through the hole where the map sensor goes, how do I remove the top half of the manifold to get it out? Taken all the screws out but it won't split! Cheers

iirc its doweled to the lower manifold so you will have to work it loose as such - just make sure the rear bracket is also off that bolts to the throttle body and then
basically rock it back and forth

I didn't hear it rattle down but to think you're right. Is it both sections I'll have to take off then? And is it a simple bolt off-bolt on job? I'm contemplating phoning the AA as it's snowing now...

well I think its easy...but am in the motor trade....

I would just remove the top half

Sorted It, just took off the top part of the manifold and it was in there. Cheers bud
