Loud heavy clunk

Was out in the car tonight and came up to a roundabout quite fast, braked reasonably hard dropped a gear then pulled on to the roundabout without stopping and heard a loud clunk from the front end could also feel it through the pedals! Any ideas anyone??

Had similar with mine, always felt like the front end was going to collapse. Took it to dealers and they were great (Steve at Renault Solihull great bloke) Found out it was the subframe loose :jump1: and the top engine mount shot. Not bad for a car that at the time was 14 months old and 12,000 miles. Once these were tightened and mount was changed spot on.

I had the same problem....subrame loose..
