Living with the Kangaroo and Flat Spots

I'd written an article a couple of years back, when trying to sort out my flatspots and tried the usual possible fixes. I was going to get a remap at the time, and created a squidoo page (new fangled idea) to try and get a bit of feedback, before parting with the cash. I am thinking again of a remap but would like to get some opinion before I spend the money. There's a poll on the squidoo page for voting for solutions. Could you give me your opinion?

Actis Solution - 18%

Remap - 0%
Combination of the above - 6%
None of the above - 6%

a remap is only done to the hot running parameters....its not really a cold running cure having said that some have improved and others haven't by far the best
is the map sensor mod...
