Liquid Yellow FF 200

Evening

I just picked up a Liquid Yellow 2010 FF Clio 200 with Cup Pack, what a car! Friend of mine had an Alien Green one a few years back which was great but I had forgotten how much fun they are!!!!

Its only done 19,000 miles with full Renault history and with the exception of a cigarette burn is absolutely immaculate, I know the previous owner was a Renault nut as I Googled his name and found this little gem of an article -

He might have even been a member on here with that Clio history!

Anyway I bought it as I was carless so it keeps me mobile whilst I am car shopping, the intention was to sell it on in a few months when what I am looking for comes up however I am not sure I can - it's infectious!!!!

Thanks bud! I don't know how long my stay will be but it's fair to say each mile I get under my belt just makes the smile bigger and bigger so who knows.........for the minute I am loving it especially in the sun the paint looks obscene!?!?!?!?!?!

they do put a smile on your face for sure..thats why we love driving them so much

Just nipped out front, sun is going down so paint not looking so blinding but still love the look of it from every angle -

Thanks gents, the colour is incredible! Want to get a good detail done on it and take some better pics.

The plate was a bonus!!

Welcome. Liquid yellow is sooo good. You might just find that the car gets under your skin.

Welcome along!

Im very bias on LY obviously but no other colour comes close apart from maybe the matt grey on the clio raider...

Welcome to the forum! They can be addictive little cars, you might end up keeping it longer than planned

I drove it to work today..........I think you might be right!!!! :001_tt1:

Its rs getting under my skin more than I ever imagined it would!

I can't believe how this paint can change depending on the sun -

To use a 'Tim Westwoodism' it 'pops' in the sunlight -

Are there any large French car shows/meets that are worth popping along to? If memory serves me right is there one at Castle Combe - that's on my doorstep!!

Looks like it needs a quick run over with a clay bar/mitt - remove all the tiny little tar spots. The paintwork will GLOW afterwards

I have 4hrs set aside tomorrow for an initial detail - snow foam, iron x, 2 bucket wash, pre wax cleanse and then a seal for now so that should make a huge difference.

LY is an awesome colour, it really is.

What car are you thinking to get then mate?

Having just sold an E46 M3 cab, I have been hankering after a B7 RS4 but not found one in spec I want (Sprint Blue, Avant, standard seats and no DRC) so when I saw the Clio I thought it would be a great little stop gap whilst I keep looking, however as mentioned already the 'stop gap' may get much longer.........

Looks great, there nothing quite like liquid yellow! There's not many weeks mine doesn't get a clean! Certainly turns heads!

And what a great plate as well, enjoy!
