Kw v1 fitting- no top mount bearing?

Does anyone know if the kw's use the standard bearing? The top mount fits perfectly but that is only without the bearing put in, would seem strange if that's the case but anyone have an answer?

No way I can see how the bearing fits into the kw's purple cup?

197/200 runs with perfo-hub so the struts dont turn like normal mcphersons struts - the hubs turn instead

Ah perfect, so the doughnut bearing on the standard shocks are just for added measure, glad I took a chance and fitted the kw's how I thought they should have
