Knocking noise when breaking and certain manouvers....

Just had my manifold changed, and obv the subframe has to be lowered as well as bits taken off... Now its all fixed up and running good, there is a knocking noise when i break or manouver when turning round etc... Def from the front of car. Any ideas? Ide rather do it myself as the garage that did it is too far away for them to look.

Could be a number of things after it's been stripped that much. I'd start by checking all the suspension and brake components. Check they are all torqued up correctly.

mine does this at low speed such as 3 point turns, a light knocking noise.

but its the pads moving in the calliper ever so slightly on mine.

I had similar knock when performing slow turning, and 3 point turns. Would be tempted to suspect strut top or ball joint, I have just replaced mine to resolve similar knocks. . .

Cheers guys. Im going to have a look at it today. Hopefully nothing will need replacing, Im guessing something isnt tightened properly, as it never made any noises before the manifold got replaced.

on mine if i was say doing a 3 point turn i can hear each calliper knock one after the other.
