Just fitted

I had PIA bulbs in the meg very expensive but great bulbs still undecided whoch i will put in the Clio as for nightbreakers I wasnt impressed i thought halfords own bran were better lol:thumbup:
 
I think I had a similar set up the other week but took them out as I didn't think the Osram bulbs were much different and had reservations over the Mtec's being legal, they were also a total different colour to the main lights. I've just put in Philips Bluevision for the main and dipped and used their blue 501's for the sidelights. Hoping for a difference from the usual yellow colour but not tested properly yet. Main thing for me is they are all the same brightness when on - really wasn't keen on the blinding Mtec sidelights.
 
The MTecs I put in were 501 LED sidelights. After fitting one side and turning them on they were far too bright - I checked the packet and it stated 7,000k, the Osram Nightbreakers that were on were 4,200 - It just looked wrong..!
 
It's all trial and error chaps. If the sidelights I fitted are too bright I will find some that are not as powerful!

All what you want it to look like and remain within the law of course :wink:
 
Will do bud, I've got to do some night driving to see how they all perform and I will then decide if and what needs tweaking.

The LEDs and Mtec bulbs have arrived, had a quick look in the bonnet....Jack even with small hands how you managed to do it I don't know.

passenger side then is no room whatsoever
 
Gave these a go today, drivers side is easy, I put the side LED and Mtec dipped beams in. Did the same for passenger side (removed the little air box hose thingy). Hardest part was clipping the side light back in. Did it first time but had the bulb in the wrong way, after that it just wouldn't fully clip in.


Found what full beam bulb your going to use yet?
 
When its dark later ill add some pics to your thread too seeing as its the same bulbs so more pics for others to see what they are like
