Lidls trolley jack £20, sounds weird but really good!

Aldi do one as well, reduced to £20 at the mo, down from £25. Not sure how good it is, but you usually get a 3 year warranty with their stuff.

I went the whole hog and got a proper Arcan trolley jack from Costco. Very nice piece of kit but expensive at over £100.

You'll need a low entry jack if the car is lowered really. Does make life easier

Cheers for the replies. Still not sure what too look out for. It's only going to be for occasional use, but obviously I don't want it to break after a few usages. As [MENTION=3203]Rogue[/MENTION] points out, I will need a low entry one.

I couldn't justify the cost for a few oil/wheel/brake changes. Looks like a proper bit of kit though!

Halfords usually have some on offer every few weeks and come with a guarantee like everywhere else
