It's clean!

Spent yesterday going over and getting rid of all the nasties.

My phone camera seems to only like taking blurry pics now :worried:

Found a small dent on the roof, a couple stone chips on the side skirt and a chip in the windscreen!! :@
 
Red looks soooo good when its just clean. Its bloody raining here (Heavily) so there'll be no car washing today up here.

It's now peeing it down here too.. but at least all the dirt is gone and i can just blade all the water off once it stops..

Bit of a mixture really.

First, tackled the alloys with wonderwheels (had previously been treated with turtle wax) - Currently on offer in asda for TWO QUID!!

and pressure washed each off, leaving them nice and sparkling!

pre-clean with pressure washer and a 5:1 mix of Farecla bodywork detox

wash all over with diamondbrite shampoo (1 cap to a bucket) and noodle mitt

pressure washer all the extra water/suds off with clean water

Used water blade and waffle weave water magnet to dry off

Clean windows with mr muscle glass and window cleaner (currently only £1 in one stop!)

Treat wheels to turtle wax tyre dressing (this stuff smells amazing)

and used megs ultimate protect on all the black trim inside and out.

lol sorry. I dont tend to use polish as its ben treated with diamondbrite, which has so far been good I must admit.

was fun finding all those pics though :smiley:
 
That looks great Mike, gotta love a clean ultra red!

Be careful with that water blade though, any fine bits of dirt that might be left on the paint can get stuck under it and cause some serious scratching. Best thing would be to use the water blade on glass and towel on the paint
