ITG Panel Filter

Hi guys. Not tryin to hijack but I just bought a ff 197 which has a pipercross panel filter, lightly oiled. Are the ITG oiled ? and would one be any better than the existing one?

Wondering about oiled panel filters and maf issues on 197s.

Sorry n thanks

Im running a pipercross one, no noticable difference as i had abd itg one before that

All foam filters will be oiled to some extent mate, ran an ITG on mine for a year without issue, now using a K-Tec and again there's been no ill effects. Don't think there'll be any difference between foam filters, they're all pretty much the same really.

Not sure the 197/200 uses a MAF to be honest...

Had a ITG on my 197 from K-tec, cost about £40 I think. Made no difference what-so-ever other than saving me from having to shell out on a new air filter on every service.

No worries I guess what I meant was is the ITG a foam or paper? and is there any preference?

Will definately leave the piperx oiled ;-)

Cheers for replying

Cotton = K&N, Green.

Paper = Renault OEM Filter.

Foam = ITG, K-Tec, Pipercross.
