itg maxogen

I've been tempted to get one but really need a review from a few people on here as I know the k&n appollo was a mighty fail. I am currently running an itg. Panel filter with k-tec full system with de-cat but want a bit more induction note and ofcourse it has to gain power over the panel filter. Any info and pics will also be nice guys, thanks

Pretty sure most people will tell you to stick with what you have and spend that kinda cash elsewhere.

For example on a remap to help iron out that flat spot you might be experiencing from using a decaf pipe.

henderson is running a maxi, slight note in early gears with using k-tec setup sound good allround and pulls very well.K-tec have tested the maxogen on a fair few with and without mapped cars and all have gains.Think the price puts a lot off.

I've heard they are quite good. Just the price is off putting. Once the cams are sorted it could be my next mod....

Lol I might have to be the guinee pig then? Its a lot of money though for it to turn out rubbish! Think I will just wait a while and see if anyone else will take the plunge!

I will let you no what they like on a 200 without a map, then i will add matched inlets a akro then a map when i have the pennys:thumbup:

all gains on clios are small and costly, the maxogen is no different but there is gains to be had especially with a custom set up and cold air feed from the lower front grille,be warned though its very load and even more so with the custom set up,for me it sounds stunning and its worth every penny, pics to follow

Louder the better mate give me a picture! What do we do with the sensor thingy on the airbox? Can you just unplug it?

ha ha my opion exactly, people need to know yr coming! part of it gets unplugged mate but the maxi comes with some very easy to understand instructions

forgot to mention, when i removed my front bumper to make my custom air intake i found that the original front upper grille intake only goes to a blanked off box and has no influence from the front grille, very vert poor cold air feed, very very poor air feed infact, enough said

Oooh good info, I shall have a look at this one night, also everyone is talking about getting the inlets matched, without sounding stupid will the head have to be removed to do this? Or just the inlet?
