Is this possable?????

Upsets to think why your looking for things like this Roy :worried:

Image holding it on biting point on a hill with that though.?
But if it keeps you in your 197 then it's got to be worth a go.

I second these thoughts but have to say it is a trick bit of kit and could be a good solution for you. I know there are other companies that do the same kind of conversion but you get a mechanical paddle by the stearing wheel as you get in some rally cars.

That's what I'm thinking Jase.its desperation time:-(

Do it Roy, if it means you can drive the beast, can't you get grants for these sort of conversions?

Its possible mate, there is a video on youtube of one fitted to an Ariel Atom

Costs around £1900 to fit

You could write ''Go Baby Go'' on it and tell people it's a NOS trigger.

Hopefully you won't need one Roy, but it's good that there's options there for you should things not work out.

Yes Luke I can get help with paying for it through Access to Work as I have got them involved at work now because it's getting harder and harder to do my job and they are trying to medically dismiss me and I need to work
Going to phone them Monday to see if they can fit it to the beasty

Looks a good bit of kit with the added thing of the wife could still drive it like a manual clutch

Good find that a Roy? Lol! I thought it looked pretty good. In an emergency stop it wouldn't really matter it the car stalled.

Heres hoping it can get you back behind the wheel, pm me any info u find out about it if u would, could be bit of handy kit for the gf as well

Obviously if available for rs models it may fit the 182 but deffo not my r26, at least thats what she will be told.....

lol, be handy for my missus too as she can't use a clutch permanently either. She's had a go in the clio but says its too quick... Bonus

Just getting all the evidence together for the DWP and all the others then when I get the go ahead I will be on to them to see if it can be done onthe 197
If not I will try to fund it myself just not getting to excited just in case it all goes tits up
Fingers crossed

i do alot of Motability cars at work, be prepared to get knocked back. They knock alot of people back these days, (saw a guy with no legs get knocked back!) but an appeal tend to over rule it even if it does take 13 weeks.

Most adaptions can be made to fit, just a case of getting a good specialist.

Sent all the paper work of now just wait and see but if they are willing to pay for a mobility car surely it will be cheaper to mod mine??
So need to drive now
