Is it sad!?!?

I have been away from home all week and the car has been getting progressively more filthy. I am going to the Chester Meet tomorrow and I don't like turning up in a mucky car, :blush:hmy: so........

I have driven around Manchester to find somewhere that sells wash mitts wheel brushes. I then found a hand car wash (not a Polish one ), to use the pressure washer and foam to clean the car. Rather than the brushes and sponges they have there!?!?

:tongue_smilie:

Now that I have shared has anybody else ever gone to unusual lengths to clean their car???

well im going to chester to and cleaned my car 3 times in two days waxing half today and cleaning and waxing the rest in the morning

I once washed my car in November at a morrisons jet wash, dried it with a 7 quid towel from the 24 hour tesco and then went round it with last touch. This was at just short of midnight! My lil bro slipped on an icy curb running over to jet wash bay! It was that cold.

I was out last weekend in the rain.....

This weekend I'm going for the "f'it it's just gonna get dirty again" excuse.

Whenever I go for a length of time without being to wash her then I get a detailer from detailingworld to do a mini valet, costs £30 but better than getting the polish to do it!

my neighbours think ive lost it. Every car ive had, ive been out in the silly hours before shows....cleaned it in -200 degree weather......washed it in the rain......took wheels off to clean the insides.....vac'd air vents with a special car interior attachment......fitted an outside socket to plug vacs/pressure washers etc.

Im waiting for a white van to turn up and take me away! lol

Im similar tbh. Its a regular occurence in the summer to see me sporting a lightweight waterproof cleaning the car in thunderstorms.

I'll clean the car for 3-4 hours, then it will sit on the drive all week getting dirty just sitting there. As i dont use it once i have cleaned it on a Sunday afternoon, then it probably wont go anywhere until the next Friday/Saturday.

finished the wheels of once by tourch light cus i ran out of time n it forcast rain the nxt day,sad git:lol:

Lol well at least I aren't the only one then!

I can safely say it was worth it though there were no other dirty cars there!

Roy - I think its a mini meet round mine. everyone bring their torches and cleaning kit and be round for 9pm. That'll mess with my neighbours minds! lmao
