ipod HU adapter

i've just been offered a Alpine XDA-001 out of a clio 182 along with the adapter for the steering wheel controls.

although im certain it'd fit the 197 HU can someone just confirm please,

The head unit will fit, I'm not sure the adapter will though. The adapter is about £36 on ebay.

I can't remember the exact adapter you need, but when I bought mine I accidentally ordered one from the previous generation Clio and it wouldn't fit.
