Hi there ,has any body had problems getting the Clio 200 sport up on the insurance lists ,I get the raider ,silverstone but not the 200 ,im picking the car up sat so I'm getting a little worried now

Saga ,I'm an old git ,but I've had a look at one or two I seem to get the silverstone ,or raider ........and even have been told that the 197 is still being produced ....

Our 200 was first called a 197 cup on our insurance documents. A quick phone call remedied that soon enough though.

Yeah I had the same some insurers only have certain types on there data file just give them a call

Normally putting your reg number in is enough to bring up the correct vehicle details.

Not always. always check and double check if insuring off the registration number, also bare in mind that any optional extras will need declaring as well.

Declaring options? I've never declared anything factory fitted :s do i have to tell them about cup chassis, recaro's and renaultsport monitor pack? Thats when she finally arrives

Yes, make them clear to the insurer, they will not increase your premium. The system used by insurers will not pick up optional extras
