does anyone know where there is a switched ignition feed in the 197??

I took my feed for the nitrous controller off the 12v socket. It's simple to get to and can be easily earthed.

If you require a Light feed for gauges etc this can be found behind the stereo on an input, forget the colour it is.

Yellow one in the radio bundle is ignition switched from what I recall.

cheers for the reply guys i want to get the snooper hard wired in and didnt realise the lighter sockets were switched i thought they were constant live but hadnt checked,

On some cars, even mk2 clios, the socket is constant live but on the 197 it's ignition switched, I would assume the same for the 200.

If using the yellow feed on the headunit for the live what about an earth?

i ended up using the cigarette lighter and then used a bolt near it to earth with a ring crimp
