Info on tyre size

Im looking at getting 2 new tires on the front. Im looking at yokohama parada spec 2. The problem is they only do them in 215/40/R17 and i have 215/45/R17 on at the moment. Will the difference in profile affect the handeling of the car?

I def would'nt mix profiles on the car. Stick the 45 is your best bet

I found a good deal on that size but I think it will look too small in the arches
