Info on spoilers..

Hello, i can blatantly see that people get annoyed with these spoiler threads haha

Im honestly not going to go through each one to get the info i want!

Feel free to point me in the right direction..

Ive got a twingo, and im hoping to upgrade to a 197 in the next few months.. But the spoiler is a big issue, as i would not like to have the cup spoiler on it.

If im correct there are 4 spoilers?

The one that comes on the 1.2s..

The gt spoiler



The elia/k-teck one


And the cup spoiler.. We all know what this one looks like

If i find the perfect 197, and it has a cup spoiler, will i be able to swap the spoiler with either the elia or gt one?

Wondering about the work involved, if the others will cover the holes and whatnot..

I really like the elia and gt ones!

You can go from a cup spoiler to the GT or the ktec/sprint without any issue and the existing holes will be covered but if the Clio has the GT spoiler fitted as standard it cant be changed without changing the boot lid because it's a different shape at the high level brake light.

There is one more spoiler which is fitted to mine although I don't know what its called. It also has the same fixing points as the cup spoiler. Here's a pic.

The GT spoiler sits level with the roof but sticks out over the window mate.

thats called a sport spoiler,it can be bought from renault for very little pennies in comparison to the others mentioned,you can also get what looks like decent copy of ebay

Im really really interested in the ktech one, so aslong as it can be fitted aftera cup spoile has been then that is perfect!!

Making me so excited!! Will be a few months, but my day will come

If anybody sees any yellow r27s for sale give me a shout!!

Aslong as it cover any holes of the other then there is no issue and my question is answered

If Carlsberg did spoilers it would be identical to the cup spoiler...

I do like the cup spoiler, but i prefer the more subtle look!!

i favour the sprint spoiler as i own one,but i also really like the cup racer spoiler though,sits at a much nicer angle to the cup spoiler imo
