What a shocker! Honda engine blows up. Didn't see that coming!

Absolutely gutted for him. He drove superbly and was definitely in the hunt for the win.

Was a good 500 overall and enjoyed it all up until Alonso went out.

Centimeters away from death. If his head hit that guard rail it would have definitely been game over. Possibly the worst accident I've ever seen that the driver walked away from!

here's a frame by frame of the dixon crash. he wasn't the only lucky one. look how close his car lands to jay howard's head. and then castroneves driving underneath the flying dixon.

Incredible stills Peter! Awesome capture of the little jump by Castroneves in the middle of it all too! He did bloody well to end up 2nd. Oh and it looks like that photographer had an extremely lucky escape too.

lol! have to admit, i became a sato fan after seeing him win a round of the french F3 championship at spa in 2000. and i really thought he was going to be the next big thing, when he dominated the british F3 championship in 2001. still a bit disappointed he never was any good in F1. always been fast, but also erratic.

was rooting for castroneves to win a fourth title. amazed he was still up there after the dixon crash and losing a piece of bodywork in the process.

just imagine, chilton winning and alonso second. the world's best driver beaten by max chilton ...
