I'd had a few days leave from work so I decided to paint the hubs (A bit sad, i know, but I wanted something to do). I always like the shiny look when you get some new brake discs and then it quickly turns in to a rusty mess!

And with the wheels removed:
Turns out the rear discs are Brembo. I didn't know that:
Rear one painted:
Yes I know there's a tiny bit of paint overlay on the disc but that'll rub off on the first touch of the brakes. I've ordered some new rear pads, so when they arrive, the brakes are getting stripped down and the calipers are also getting painted in the same silver paint.

I took the opportunity to see what hell awaits me in the next few weeks when the front calipers are stripped and cleaned! I sprayed the pins with some WD-40 in the hope it might make some difference when it comes to removing them:

I'm really pleased with how they turned out. Super easy job too! Please excuse the dirty car, it will be getting cleaned next weekend, possibly today as I'm still off!
