How to remove the dash inserts?

I'm looking to get the dash inserts covered in CF and wondered how they came off?

They just pull off with your hands! Really easy, there metal clips so you can't break anything!

Once off it doesn't effect the car does it?

I'll still be able to use it, no wires hanging out etc.

Nope it is fine to have them off and leave them off. As said just pull, they are pretty sturdy but be gentle. They aren't cheap to replace and pretty rare to find second hand.

Best to pop both ends out first I find on the glovebox one as it has quite a curve in it, first time they might be a bit stick but just be firm yet gentle.

you'll lose 10bhp, but other than that you'll be fine. I had mine off for over a week when I had mine trimmed.

Ive read about the power loss so im prepared for that. :s
