How to remove steering wheel centre cover

Hi all, I know there is a steering wheel removal how to, but it skips the part I want to check how do you remove just the centre cover of the steering wheel want to remove as I may get my vents sprayed and would like to have the silver circle and ren badge changed to black - can you even remove it without reoving the wheel? wouldnt be confident to remove the whole wheel!

If you're on about the small silver ring and diamond on the airbag, they're not accessible from the back. They're bonded on front the front I think.

I've thought about doing the same but they look very fragile!

I didnt mean actually removing the little ren badge or the circle i mean removing the whole centre cover as i know someone who works ina body shop so could get him to spray just those bits
