How to move expansion tank?

Have seen quite a few guys on here have moved their expansion tank to one side and replaced it with the older 1*2 bottle. Is this a simple job to do?

Was wondering how to go about attaching the replacement tank to the engine bay...

I just made a simple bracket and then just simply re piping. One thing though reuse you existing header tank cap.

Thanks! ...although sadly I dont have the same metal work skills as you Had a quick look at the post on your progress thread, any chance you can remember what length of piping you ordered from ASH?

the pipe i used was a off cut from the brake master cylinder vacuum hose. This was multiply. but you won't need that for the header. The bore was 9.5mm but had to reduce this down one of the radiator connections. Go with a smaller diameter pipe. this will go onto a slightly larger diameter by putting the hose end in hot water.
