House Project thread

...reminds me of our house when we first moved in....luckily we still had loads of 1960's features like open riser staircase in place and a nice glass panel room divider (is better than it sounds)....we have spent the last 7 years restoring the 1960's feel to the house and have some real nice period furniture......that carpet you ripped out is just what I am looking for!!
Ok so...
we got our downstairs hall painted
(most of the holes filled and rest of the paper taken off)
Bedroom painted
Jemma got a clock for the kitchen (the eyes and tail move...) I'm not sure... scared the frick out of me..
Got the side of the stairs painted
12 boxes of Laminate flooring for the living room, Hall and kitchen
£3 lights from Ikea! we'll have 3 please.
Mission critical internet installed before we have moved in!!
Halifax sent us a nice little hamper
Fridge and washing machine arrived!
Kitchen cleared ready for me to get someone to plaster it fully (wrecked my back no chance I'm doing it again. Also found someone who'd do it cheap enough!)
Underlay for the carpet (never put one down before this was going to be interesting!)
Carpet down!
Bed in and being built
Bed in and made!
Sink and Sink unit! Its huge! I could have a bath in it!
checking to see if our tap looks good or not!
Our light to replace the dodgy one that was currently up in the kitchen
Lights in hall and landing again
Living room finally plastered too covering the fireplace mess!
