I have been a regular visitor on here for a while so I thought it was about time that I contributed.
My car is an '07 Nimbus Grey 197 that has covered 11k. The only mods to the car are a pair of Infinity Reference speakers in the standard rear locations and an iPod connection point in the glovebox. Apart from that the car has been (obsessively!) cleaned and waxed using:
Autosmart fine clay bar and cleaning solution to remove contamination and tar spots
Megs Scratch X to remove minor scratches in lacquer
Zymol Clear wash additive
Zymol HD cleanse to get the paint to a silky finish
Zymol Creame wax
Zymol Vinyl on interior and exterior plastics
Autoglym Alloy Wheel seal
No name tyre black from a bodyshop/valeting supplies bloke who comes to work
The car was 95% to my liking when I bought it in April this year with just 8.5k on the clock and 22 months old. Since then I have done just 3k in it and I have to say it's the best car that I've owned for a long time. In the late 90's I ran Mk 4 16V Polo that I fitted with H & R coilovers and 16" BBS RX's. I think this thing handles better with the standard set up than the Polo did.
I love the car so the plan is to keep this for a couple of years until an all new Renaultsport Clio hits the showrooms and go for one of those from new.
