NOT my most favourite colour ever........but THAT is the epitome of a true driver's car to me and the standout amongst some GREAT metal you've owned John Back in the day one of my golf partners owned one. So i've spent a fair amount of time semi-sideways in one of those !

So finally after all this time bought a 197 Cup in Glacier White on a 09 reg, first impressions are, it’s very basic which I like, the brakes are great and the handling superb, it revs like mad but slow, but that’s because my daily driver is a BMW M3 Monte Carlo with over double the hp.
I was looking for a 197 Cup and ended up buying the Monte Carlo with dct and tracking that and two trips to the ring, it’s not raw like the 197 Cup, just the opposite, it’s very plush and superb on the track too.

Still have the 996 turbo, it’s off to the garage tomorrow for a service, new front discs and investigate a water leak that has stopped leaking, probably scabbed itself up I guess.
