Good idea Steve. When we did the Welsh run not so long back, the organiser set up a 'Just Giving' account so that people who were attending could make a contribution if they so wished. That money was given to Help the Heroes in that instance.

So what I'm thinking, is when we arrange forum meets this year, we could do something along the same lines?? Donate the proceeds at the end of the year to a charity/or charities or our choice?

I think we should do something not just turn out our pockets. don't no what tho. some sort of sponsored event? there seems to be a few things being made and sold on here recently, so how about something like that. profit or proceeds to cancer research

Well the meets would be kind of an event, but I see what you're saying. The best bet would be to make a separate thread which would allow people to put their ideas forward. I agree it would be good to do something for charity.

Not so long back? Coming up for 2 years now mate lol!!

All down for a contribution to a charity though!
