Lovely to thing, quite impressed so far.

Here’s the 197, with it’s older brother my mk1 16v, running complete f7r with jenvey bodies and omex Ecu

Few subtle mods
New splitter
Wind deflectors
Induction kit

Few other bits need tarting up. Drivers seats isn’t worn but I’m gonna get a new one. Door handle silver has work a bit, so new ones of them. Couple of stone chips on the bumper. So I’ll get that resprayed

Cheers folks. I’m not gonna lie I prefers the mk1 as it’s much more raw. But I’m very happy with the 197, the handling is spot on, can’t fault it at all

congrats on the 197.

that mk1 ... gorgeous looking car. still think it's one of the nicest looking hatchbacks ever made. couldn't afford a 16V back in the day, so settled for 1.4 RT. no power, but after some suspension tinkering handled brilliantly. still miss the 'directness' of how that car drove.
