Help!!!!

Spending day treating the clio to a good clean, started engine to move it and a spanner has lit up on my dash. It also says check ignition in the info box. Car starts and runs okay. What can it be? Need car running smooth for the remap on the 11th

Check the throttle plug on the top of the pedal, it did this when I installed my sprint booster

Okay, should be something simple. Yeah sprint booster makes a big difference. Best mod you can do to these cars IMO

Water ingress?

have you lifted the bonnet to do the engine compartment at all?

either way if its dry (i take it is or you wouldn't have washed it) pop the bonnet and let air/sun get to it if possible and if it is it will hopefully dry it out for you.

Ive got the sign to come off and it pulls better but still not full power

Yeah, ive got a mate to plug it into a diagnostic tomorrow and im going to look at a full service too. I need it running its best asap! Cheers guys!

I was playing with a code reader the other day I unplugged a coil to get a warning up at first it said check ignition and then the light came on, sounds like the same symptom realy slow to rev up and massive lack in power, worth a quick check if you've been cleaning round that area .

I only cleaned the outside of the car, but yeah they are deffo the symtoms!
