Help wheel offsets? :-S

Hey all

Sorry for my stupidity and incompetance, I know very little about wheels/offsets.... I used to think all wheels would fit any car depending on the studs 3/4/5!?!? Yeah....

So does anybody know an 03 type r (ep3's standard alloys) will fit my 08 Clio 197?

For those of you wondering why, it's just so my wheels can go into the body shop and I am able to use my car on the mean time and a friend has some lying around

the pcd is wrong so they wont fit

like andy said different pcd which is the measurement between the studs ie clio 197 is 5 x 108, then some other cars maybe a 5 x 114.

I saw on one of the sites though, that you can get spacers with the offset chainging

yeah, might help with finding alloys to fit

Wouldnt be worth doing unless you kept the wheels as your going to need PCD adapters.
They also act like a spacer so will reduce the offset.

hes only looking at fitting them while his wheels are refurbed so i doubt he will want spacers lol
