Hi all, my name is Charlie.

My car history starts baaad but gets much better. A lemon yellow fiesta mk2 that my mum really liked, upgraded to my nan's ultra low mileage, but somehow still mechanically suspect, blue fiesta mk2, then 20 car less years in London, then a move from London and a fully loaded, but slow BMW compact, which I regretted buying and was considering selling, when it was handily rear ended and written off, allowing me to reinvest in a Clio 197. Happy days!



I'm considering a suspension tweak and would really appreciate some expert opinion but I'll post that separately in, I guess, the Technical/Suspension section. Anyway, nice to meet you all.

197 looks stunning buddy. Not that getting it sitting a little lower wouldnt hurt !

Is this a non-Cup model (I ask as mine was and sat a little high for my liking).

Yup, it's a non cup model. Standard and fairly pristine with some nice options like xenon lights and CD auto-changer. Although saying that, the radio reception doesn't seem too great and I do miss having a usb or bluetooth connection for my tunes so I might change out the auto-changer.

You know, I think I've picked up on that vibe today... And I do like to be a bit original...
