Hi Guys i Picked up my 197 yesterday and i'm really happy with it except for the key cards being in really bad condition, has anyone considered plasti dipping there remote?

Heres a quick picture its been crap weather so its filthy already.

Not heard of anything being done like that with the keycards.

Personally I would be extremely hesitant at putting any liquids near it considering if I remember correctly they are around £100 for a new one!

Welcome mate, yeah not sure about plasti dip on the key but I actually don't see a problem, take out the battery and key, then very carefully tape the key and battery slot and also the buttons. Then while the plasti dip is tacky remove the tape so it dosnt peel the plasti dip. Just be supper fussy with the tape.
