Headlight options?

I was wondering what the headlight options are for the 200 as I'm finding them a bit on the dull side? I have the reflector type so I'm assuming unsuitable for a HID upgrade? Has anyone tried the new LED headlight kits?

Thanks

Yeah, reflector lenses are no good for HID's unless your a spacker and don't mind blinding everyone. Add-in LED lamps seem to be somewhat lacking as well from what I read, so best bet is probably to fit some projector headlights and put some HID's in those.

You can get Valeo units from ECP for about £100 a side:

Haha mint, keyboard almost got covered in brew!

I too have reflector headlights on my 197 and when I first drove the car at night I actually thought the bulbs weren't working. The car I came from had reflector headlights too but they were far brighter for some reason.

I popped in a set of OSRAM Night Braker bulbs and they are much much better, while not quite as bright as projector headlights or HIDs the improvement over what it was before is great. I'd go for them or the Philips X-treme vision bulbs. H7 I think the fitment is for the dipped beam.

While I was at it I also changed the sidelight bulbs and popped in some chrome indicators. I'll warn you though, you need 5 year old hands as they are a pig to change. Doable, but very tight. There's a guide on here somewhere on what bits to take off to make access better which is very useful.
