Last night I came out of a customers site to find I had a flat.. No problem filled up with the foam as it was totally flat and drove home under 30MPH like it said on the tin...
I went this morning and got a new tyre put on drove to the customers site thinking this is very slippy on the corners it must need scrubbed in or something.. got out and noticed they had replaced the rear right.. the tyre with the problem was the front right(as noted on the job sheet!!).. I had been doing 60-70MPH on the back roads when straight and having to slow right down when cornering... got to the customers site with a tyre full of foam!! had to drive back at 20 or so and half way back the car was vibrating like crazy so had to slow it right down!
In my opinion I'm quite lucky it didn't de-laminate or go bang!
Moral of the story? Check when someone changes a tyre for you ffs. Its not something you expect someone to cock up but when your in a rush and don't check it - its the only time this will happen!
