Well finally got bulbs sorted :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Only to have the alarm going off every five minutes last night. Read a few threads and sussed out it was the pin switch for the bonnet. I now remember when. I undid the 10mm bolts to remove the bumper that I dropped what looked like a 15mm square piece of plastic down into the bowels of the engine. Have put some packing underneath the bracket that holds the pin switch in place HEY PRESTO the alarm isn't going off anymore 
( saying that I can fart louder so I don't think it would have upset the neighbours )
