Went to my car this morning to see a little yellow post-it note on the windshield, heart sunk, i knew what this meant

Yep, someone had hit my rear wing last night, though the damage isnt too bad, it just wasnt a good way to start this day ... AND i have to go to work :thumbdown:

To be fair to the guy who did it, he left a very nice note with his name, number, address and even the time that it happened (or so it says)

Still to ring the number yet, might be a random number :lol:

Ill post a picture up so you can tell me what you think about price ?

100% agree, i was pretty annoyed at first, but then realised he must be a genuinely nice guy leaving a note so ill give him a bell later

When you say rear wing do you mean bumper or in front of that?

Is annoying that the car has been damaged but atleast the guy was decent enough to leave his details.

Yeah there arent many people out there like that !

On the bumper mate, might even have started to creep onto the panel infront of that, didnt look at it for that long :001_unsure: Ill get a pic up soon.

Little update, took it to my local bodyshop last night, £150+vat, the fella seemed happy with this price, and told me to go ahead and book it in !

When i got the car, the rear bumper was a bit worn and scuffed from the previous owner, i mentioned this to the guy at the bodyshop and he said dont worry about it, we'll do the whole lot, £150+vat !!result :cloud9: think he just likes my car, couldnt pay enough compliments to it

just make sure he pays before the work is carried out, you don't want to get stuck with the bill and him refuse to pay.

Just a shame that most people would drive off and leave it! I know for a fact if i hand't of been in the car when 2 bottles of tango were dropped on the bonnet, the guy would have just picked them up and walked off

Yeah Jase i will do, they said there car is in the same bodyshop aswell ! and they live opposite it so i shouldn't have any trouble if it comes to that !:tongue_smilie:

I had a taxi driver scrape my rear bumper.
when I got out and started taking pics of HIM and the cars he straight away offered to pay cash.
alarm bells rang so got him to follow me straight to bodyshop I use.
a few sly winks later the taxi driver agreed to pay for the whole new bumper and exhaust the bodyshop told him I need
Got my front and rear bumpers repainted and the bonnet
he paid £860 cash without batting an eye.

Pretty strange that he just paid it outright ! Fair play though !
