Gearbox oil change....

Im gonna get the oil changed in the 'box either this weekend or next, but is it worth getting some Molyslip Gearbox Protector?

was gonna get some RED LINE Synthetic Manual Transmission Lubricant MTL 70W-80, anything else id need? Any new washers etc?

Don't use additives with quality oils like the MTL, it can ruin the oil.

so as not to start another thread,i changed my gearbox oil with fuchs sintofluid and after 2 months with it in my box has definately got notchier

i'd go for standard stuff

Probably unrelated to the Fuchs oil tbh. I've been running it for 6 months + with no issues what so ever. It's much better than it was.

That's odd to hear about the Fuchs, it's normally very very good. We've sold loads of it to Clio owners and I've not had any complaints that I can think of.
