Gear knob broken or what?

I don’t do racing or crazy shifting, I’m very gentle with my RS III, but this morning for some reasons the gear knob was in my hand. Is it broken or just stripped off. Please advice how to fit it back. Thanks.

Yes its normal, they all break on all well travelled Clios. Poor French design. Mine went as well last year.

From what I gathered, to get a universal fit knob on the lever, you will need to remove most of the plastic at the top. Other option is to fit OE Renault alternatives (GBP 120 or so), get a replacement part from a breaker yard or ebay for GBP 30 or thereabouts, or go with a ZPM shift extender like I did. That slides directly onto the lever arm, no need to modify anything.
