Fuel pipe

I was stripping my car to tidy up the underside and noticed the small hardline section in the fuel pipe was really rotten.

Has anyone got a custom line made that uses the OEM push on fittings on the tank and fuel rail?

The price of the full fuel pipe from Renault is obscene!

Yea I know it had to repair the plastic line from fuel pump to the front hard line. So which hard line is it the green or the black one?

Its like brake lines there are flaring tools to make the quick connect ends I believe the end is called GM connector but the two pictures contradict, the size should be 7.8 or 8mm I've been through this but I think that price is for both hard lines as a kit so not just as bad.

Its the one thats closer to the outside of the car. Number 3 in that pic. The one without the balloon looking thing in line.

Although I can’t get the fitting off that connects number 3 to number 1. Probably because the pipe is so badly corroded. If I force it, it will likely come off. But I don’t want to break it and have no fuel line lol.

Renault want over £300 for number 1 and 3.

Asking around to see if some custom braided line makers can do it.

spray WD40 on and into the open end to wet it then push the plastic part towards the front of the car to get the pressure off the clip then use a micro screw driver right across the green band pushing down with a slight twist then pull it will be dry and tight it was put on 16 years ago and spent it getting covered in road dirt in all that time. I think it will clean up use a rust remover first clean up and paint should do the job
