Fuel Filler Cap Stuck

My fuel filler cap is stuck closed and my tank is more or less empty. Is there anyway to get the fuel cap open that doesn’t involve pulling it off by force and damaging it?

yes...remove the trim on the drivers sdie in the boot and have a nosey you can just see a lever on the flap release solenoid...there is also a thread about it somewhere

I presume you mean the plastic trim with the holes in on the right? How does that bit come off? Does it just pull off or is it screwed in place?

i think its more the side carpet trim...
