front pins

so im going to change the front pads this weekend what are my chances of not having to buy new pins, the cars nearly 2 and a half years old and iv never touched them ?

I managed to get mine out pretty straight after 3.5 years. Getting the actual pads out was the hard bit. Still replaced them with alternatives from on here though

I managed it bud! Although the temptation to lamp it is there.. don't slip.

i really dont understand peoples issues with these pins.

my clio 200, 3 x pads changes in its first year and 17k miles, no pin issues.

my partners megane r26, 4 years old, as far as i can tell no pad change, certanely not for many miles. Pins came out ok and were re-used without issue.

what are peoples issues with them?!

I changed mine today and the needed a little persuasion but Nothing major they had been in for 35k and 2 years and 9 months and don't think Renault touch them other than to check the thickness of the pads
