Front discs.. strange erosion

i've a strange question for you..
in italy many 197/200 users have a strange erosion of front discs..

Do you know something about this? any cases from you?

Looks like pistons on the one side of the calipers maybe sticking.

either the above about the pistons or the pad is seizing inside the carrier, looking the pic of the pads in the carrier there is a hell of alot of dust build up which leads me to belive they havnt been stripped down and cleaned for a while.
I always clean mine out once a year, removing the pads wire brushing where the pads sit and using brake clean to clean it all out
