I assume you've undone the 2 retaining screws?

If you are binning the old ones just hit them with a good sized lump hammer and they'll come off eventually. Earlier this year I was changing the discs on my brothers car any we ended up breaking them into 3 pieces they took some much whacking with the hammer!

edit - damn it, beaten by foxspeed!

Yeah retaining screws are off, going to get back to it in the morning, neighbours were complaining at the hammering noise :tongueout:

Should've told them to give you a hand then the hammering noise would stop sooner ! I had this on the R26, as said above though a few good whacks and they come off eventually. My retaining screws had to be drilled out too !

Yeah going to be cracking on with that now, didn't have a problem with the screws like, pins were a nightmare too Haha!

put it on full lock and smack the disc on the rear face then turn it 180 and do the same..

Had the exact same problem with mine last night too. Had to give it a fair few whacks with 'the big persuader'.

I remember when I made the decision to do it I was thinking "I f*cking hope these replacement Mtec discs fit ok". There's no going back at that point lol

Haha I was thinking the same thing when I was whacking them! Got the discs on now like, pads are on drivers side just struggling to get the pins off on the passenger side, got to the point where I'm thinking about just cutting them out!

haha i had the same issue. my solution was a crowbar. levered it against the caliper mount. and they popped right off.
