Front axle stand positioning

I know its sounds like a daft question,

but I dont want to put the axle stands under the jacking points under the chassis, Im not sure where the safest point is around the front sub frame would be though, to position the car safely.

Please help

Hope these help... where I placed them when getting the car up... (ignore the oil spill :/)

Most points on the subframe are pretty sturdy. Anywhere with a bolt will generally be ok.

Nice one, yeah these imagines defo show the points where I’ll be placing the stands next time I come to jacking up the front,
I want to replace the front discs and pads at some point in the coming weeks.
I just have a feeling that the calliper pins are going to be a nightmare to remove!

I’ve had the car almost 4 years & I’ve never stripped them down before.
I want to sort it though & then service the brakes & then get it into a garage so the fluids can be replaced

If you can strip the brakes then you should be capable enough to change the fluids, including the brake fluid?

Good shout, but I always thought it was a 2 man job when it comes to bleeding the brakes?

You can buy an Ezibleed system that uses the air from a tyre to mimic pumping the brake pedal.

It is a lot easier to do with two people, but doable with one.
