Flat spot? What flat spot? (k-tec manifold)

So I got a K-tec exhaust manifold fitted yesterday (on an otherwise stock exhaust) and I was expecting a big fat flat spot somewhere in the rev range but I don't notice anything other than it being slightly louder on throttle. Where exactly is the flat spot supposed to be, between which revs? Is it really that noticeable as everyone seems to claim?

Normally between 2.5-3k. But I remember reading Ktec have put a lot of time into this 3rd gen manifold to rule out flat spots.

If it’s a stock exhaust you’ll still have a cat and the back box which will help.

Did you map out the precat or does it run fine anyway? "Got a full exhauston order"

Alright, I'll try looking for it at 2.5-3k and see if I notice anything.
Didn't map it, it runs fine.
