Flat Battery

evening ,

daughter's clio has sat outside for a while and battery has gone very flat - can't open passenger door with key (think it's deadlocked) any idea how to get some beans into it - to work locks - tried putting power through number plate light circuit with no success (maybe did not leave for enough time)

yes you can!

thats the whole point of the key to unlock if the system fails

mine went flat in the garage and had to use the spare key to get in

Sadly , does work - keys just turns

i think you have turn the key and hold it there while you pull the handle

yes I thought that too , but nothing doing - tried everyway - either the lock link has come off or when it's dedlocked it does not work . Anyone got any other ideas can you get to bonnet cable in passenger side wheel arch area ? or has anyone put a 12v feed somewhere ?

when you turn the key you can feel it moving the lock motor

in fact i will try it today as mine is outside deadlocked now...

break a window and pull the bonnet release

the key should unlock on the passenger door

If you can get under the car put a 12v feed to the starter motor.
