Fitting Scorpion cat back

Looking for some info, got a scorpion cat back to fit to a Clio 200. Assume rear section is pretty straight forward apart from making sure it's lined up correctly with the diffuser holes. At the front end is this a straightforward fit or does the standard exhaust have to be cut to mate with the scorpion pipework. Any info and pics wouldn't be helpful from those that have done it.

Give Scorpion a call and see if they can email you over the fitting instructions. It's something like 7cm from the cat where you cut it. Be quick though as I doubt they'll be open over the weekend!

Think the existing has to be cut back 70mm from lamba sensor from cat ...

Out of interest would anyone have a rear hanger rubber that they could measure the hole diameter and the distance centre to centre of the two holes, want to order up a couple of poly exhaust hangers for the back boxes

Just fitted a Scorpion system to my 197 this morning, it was very straightforward and took me approx 1 hour 45 minutes.

As above, cut 70mm back from the edge of the weld for the lambda sensor, the rest is pretty easy. My exhaust rubbers were all spot on, so I just reused everything, I didn't feel like I could have benefit from renewing or fitting poly ones.

The rear box was cut approx 13 inches from the back edge of the rear silencer to allow it to be used in the future.

Fitment was spot on for me, so hopefully you'll have the same experience.

Yep, just confirming.... 70mm back from the lambda is where to cut.

I'll attach a few pics of mine in hope it helps.

As you can see in the 2nd pic. I loosely attached the straight part and lined it up to be sure before cutting it (hard to show as I had to step back to take the pic).

As for the exhaust lining up with the diffuser it is literally perfect. Once you get all the pieces together and lined up properly with the heat shield then the tail pipes sit perfect

That's superb thanks. What type of gasket is used between the cat and down pipe is it a wire donut type

Do you mean the metal clamp things that go where the pipes overlap one another to secure them?

The scorpion system comes with them, 1 for each connection as needed. They just screw tight if it's the correct thing

No on the engine side of the cat just in case I take the cat off to cut it i.e between the cat and the downpipe the flange you show in the 2nd picture above.
