Fading trip computer

Sometimes my lcd trip computer is dull when I turn the car on. A small bang on the top of the dash brings it back to life!

Anyone had this before?

My dad used to have a TV that did that :mellow:

I've noticed mine flickering whilst on tickover, the dash not my telly.

Nah I don't think so, a bang on the dash wouldn't charge the battery!!
