It's no surprise to see Palmer given the boot - he had his second chance this year, and although I know he's had some reliability issues, he's been nowhere Hulkenberg's pace. Hopefully Sainz can help move Renault forward, I like them as a team.
I too would like to see Kubica back in, I'm hopeful he'll get a seat. It is a pity that that is all Alonso has to go on, though I guess it's about the limit of what he can get. He's got no realistic chance of a top team wanting him now unfortunately, so it's a reliance on a mid-grid team coming good and giving him half a shot there...
